We have one of the highest save rates nationally at 96%. The common standard for no-kill shelters is 90%. We only consider Humane Euthanasia for animals based on 2 circumstances:

  1. When an animal is in extreme pain without hope of recovery, euthanasia alleviates their suffering before a natural death
  2. If an animal has an extreme or highly unpredictable behavior where they are considered a probable threat to injure others
