Bean is a 4 year old neutered male cocker spaniel who was surrendered to QAS because he is nervous around new people and children. It is true, he is. He bit a woman on the hand when she came near his face when he was eating something. In short, until he trusts you, he can growl, and he can use mouth inappropriately. We are looking to find a Foster home until his medical issues are resolved, then you could adopt him!

We know this isn’t a bio that will have people stampeding to the shelter to adopt him, but all he needs is someone who will be patient. Once he likes you, he is very sweet and incredibly loving. With other dogs he can be testy. Bean is very food motivated and his whole body wiggles when he is happy. 

Bean is not a dog for everyone. But we know he is the right dog for someone – a quiet and patient cocker spaniel fan just has to be out there.

Meet Snowshoe! Snowshoe is a 2-year-old male, dressed in his tuxedo and ready to go home! He loves to be pet and to have his stomach rubbed, but prefers not to sit on a lap. He thinks he is a dog in that he’ll follow you everywhere, but would prefer not to be picked up and held. He needs to be the center of someone’s existence, although he has a mind of his own. He is very curious, smart, and has a loud purr. Snowshoe would do best in a home with no other cats and not with young children. He has been around a dog and seemed to be OK, so perhaps a well-mannered dog would be acceptable to him!
