Rick and Rack

Rick is a 4-year-old male and Rack is a 2-year-old male.  They lived in the same home together; however they do not have to go together.  They both seem to enjoy the other cat but could go as single cats.  Adoption fee is $225 for each.

Franklin

Meet Franklin, a 1.5-year-old handsome boy with a lot of personality and charm! Franklin came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery—but what we do know is that he’s a friendly, social kitty who enjoys being around people and is curious about the world around him. He has shown interest in other cats and may benefit from having a feline companion in his future home.

Franklin does have some special needs and is looking for an experienced cat owner who understands feline behavior. He shows signs of hyperesthesia, a condition that can cause him to become overstimulated at times, which may lead to him using his teeth or claws. Because of this, he would do best in an adult-only home with someone who can recognize his signals and help manage his environment. He is currently on medication to help manage his symptoms, and it will be important for his adopter to continue this care.

With the right home, Franklin has so much love and companionship to offer. If you’re interested in learning more about him we encourage you to come meet him at the shelter Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday from 11am–4pm, or Friday by appointment. You can also reach out via email at adoptions@quincyanimalshelter.org.

Red

Meet Red ❤️

3 years old • Shy & Sweet • FLUTD Warrior

Red is a handsome 3-year-old boy with a quiet charm and a gentle heart. While he may be shy and reserved at first, with time and patience, he reveals his sweet, loving nature. Red needs an experienced cat owner who understands that trust takes time and is willing to help him come out of his shell at his own pace.

Red also has a condition called FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease), which is manageable with a proper diet and care. He’ll thrive in a calm, low-stress home where he can feel safe, supported, and loved.

If you’re looking for a quiet companion and have the heart and experience to help a shy cat flourish, Red may be the perfect addition to your family.

Red is currently in foster and not at the shelter. Please reach out to the shelter to set up a meet and greet if you’re interested.
