Javed is a gentle, playful 6 month old ginger & white tabby cat who is a little skittish in the beginning but will warm up with a little coaching. He was placed in a foster home when found stray last month; his foster family says that now he has become used to them, he follows them around everywhere! He’s still a little skittish, but once comfortable, he loves to be patted and plays so gently. He has become friends with the foster family’s resident cats, so Javed might do well with a feline sibling of his own. With time, he was also okay with the foster family’s dogs, but young children startle him so he needs an adult only home, or one with older children. Although he’s good with cats, he loves attention, so he would do fine as an only-pet, as well. He can be picked up with no problems, but we are still working on getting him comfortable with sitting on a lap. He loves soft toys, his cat condo, and sitting in the window. He sleeps in bed with his foster; when they’re not home, he can be found under their bed, perhaps awaiting their arrival?
