Calvin is a gentle large breed hound mix who wants to love his family and smell every scent he can! At 6 years old and 73 lbs. he doesn’t realize how strong he is, and he forgets how big he is and wants to be in your lap! Outside he wants to see the world through his nose. Having hound stubbornness but with some yummy treats he will listen, although not without protesting with a howl.
Calvin has a sore on his foot which our medical team is addressing. Luckily, he isn’t letting this get in the way of his activity. Calvin has not shown any interest in other dogs and due to his strength, he might be better with stronger kids. If you want a loving, beefy, gentle boy whose two passions are loving his people and smelling everything outside, Calvin is the dog for you!
