Helena is a gorgeous Dilute Tortie girl who is about 4 years old. Her dramatic and unusual coloring and markings set her apart from many of our cats. She was a stray who appeared on a Good Samaritan's porch a couple months ago. Now that the weather is getting colder, the Good Samaritan brought her to us knowing she would need a warm home before winter comes. She is affectionate and, we are told, gives kisses. If you have a warm home and a loving heart for this lovely cat, perhaps she will trade a kiss with you.

The Quincy Animal Shelter is a volunteer-run organization. The Shelter relies completely on our volunteers and the community for support. Incorporated in November 1999 as a non-profit Massachusetts charity, we are also a recognized charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Since 1999 the Quincy Animal Shelter has placed more than 5,000 cats and dogs into loving and forever homes through out MA and New England.
