Baby Cat

Meet: BABY

Baby is a 1-1/2 year old grey, black and white Tabby. She was brought to the Shelter when her owner lost their home. This place is all very new to her so please understand that she may be a bit shy with you at first. Give her just a few minutes of chin scratches and head rubs and you will see this sweet, affectionate girl bloom right in front of your eyes. In no time you will see the promise she holds as a true lap cat. If you give this little girl her forever home, you will forever receive the snuggles and love she is so ready to give. She has lived with other cats before so would probably welcome a feline sibling.

Waffles Cat

Meet: WAFFLES - Photos Soon!

Yup, think about what an Eggo waffle looks like, and that's my coloring, then add in a white bib and belly. I'm just a little thing who was found out in the cold near Wal-mart. Boy was it cold. But I am here now and as handsome as can be and quiet. But watch out - I like to stick my paws out of the cage to literally grab your attention! I'm just 10 months old and a little protective of my food, but the growls are "all show" and no action because I turn around and head butt the friendly people here to get attention. Give me catnip. Oh yes, I knew what that was right away, and feathery toys and I'm as happy as a clam. Won't you come take me home to your quiet, warm home?

Scamper Cat

Meet: SCAMPER

Hi! I'm Scamper... Yup, that's exactly what I do around my new home here. Oh, I like all the attention, don't get me wrong, but when I'm given toys to play with, especially feathered toys or ones with catnip, well, I roll and romp and scamper. This place is very interesting, and I like seeing all the other feline friends here. I'm just a handsome all grey youngster at only 9 months, so of course I have a lot of energy. I like FOOD, and am rather possessive of my bowl, so any other cat around watch out, as I may eat your food too! On the friendly side, and I do love being stroked and held and talked to, but I'm not a talker. Hope to meet you soon!

Fiona Cat

Meet: FIONA - Photos Soon!

My name is Fiona, and I'm quite beautiful if I don't say so myself! I'm one of those one-on-one cats, who enjoys your undivided attention. I'll sit on your lap and sleep in bed with you. I am playful, but a quiet lady all soft and fluffy and well groomed. Someone in my past declawed me, but that means your furniture is safe with me and I won't climb up your legs either. I have a mane like a coon cat, but I'm a bit smaller with brown and black stripes. I'm almost 3-1/2 years old. Won't you take me home so we can spend quality time together?

Lily Cat

Meet: LILY - Photos Soon!

Hi! It's Lily! You will probably hear me since I talk a lot, but that's just so I get noticed and stroked! I'm really not a wallflower! Instead I'm a 3 year old girl who came in with my friend Jinx. We look a lot alike too, but I'm smaller. I'm a black and tan Tabby with a huge personality, and just want to be stroked, and OK, I love catnip and feathery toys too. I hope to be adopted soon so I won't have to keep talking to get attention! I'll be waiting for you.

Jinx Cat

Meet: JINX

My name is Jinx. I'm the 10 month old guy that came in with Lily, and while she's a talker, I'm more on the quiet side. Not to worry though, I purr and love to be stroked, and enjoy watching people with my piercing eyes that are even more pronounced because they are trimmed in black. The rest of me is grey and black striped with a little beige thrown in the mix. Oh, and my nose is trimmed in black too. Aren't I special? Well, yes of course, as I'm a sophisticated boy looking for a quiet home which I hope will be soon!

Gemma Cat

Meet: GEMMA

Info to follow...

Princey Cat

Meet: PRINCEY

Greetings from your royal highness, Princey! My real name is Princess, but I have had the nickname Princey for so long that my new friends at QAS did not want to change it and confuse me. I came to QAS because my owner passed away :(. I am 9 years old, and I hope that there is someone out there who knows how great older cats are and that they will come and adopt me. I am super sweet, and I would be great in a low activity home because I mainly seek a throne to sit or sleep on, and I am not high maintenance like a younger cat or kitten. Please come and visit me at the Shelter. I am so loving that I hope that when you spend some time with me, you will be hooked! Please hurry - I cannot wait to go home with you!

Scooter Cat

Meet: SCOOTER

Hi! My name is Scooter, and I am just the sweetest black boy cat and just a year old. I was a little scared when I came to the Shelter and I hid in my cage, but I have gotten a lot of love, and I have come right out of my shell. In fact, I will walk up to you when you come in to my cage and I will let you pet me. I may even try to climb into your lap. I get along with other cats, and they believe at the Shelter that I will be a lap cat once I am in my new forever home. Look into my lovely yellow eyes and see if you can resist me. I would love to go home with you, and if you have the space, please consider taking my awesome "roommate" Elvis as well. We are a fantastic all black duo! Black cats are the best!

Tango Cat

Meet: TANGO

Well, Hello! My name is Tango... why Tango? Well, I'm orange like the drink, and I can dance! Yes, I love to dance between your ankles. I am super good at it and I'm very warm at 5:00 AM. Besides that, I am an orange girl, which means I am kinda rare and I am smart and super friendly. I lived alone in the back woods of a condo complex and the residents would feed me, but no one would let me in. I started doing a little dance number outside a lady named Carol's door and she fell for it. She called the Shelter and here I am. I want to stay inside where it is safe and warm. I'm young (about 2 years old), I like people and I think I might like a nice dog or cat to hang out with. Nice kids would be ok too. No problem liking food or using the litter box... I'm all good and ready to roll! Sunny Window Seat Please!

Big T Cat

Meet: BIG T

Big T is a white and black 4 year old, long-haired boy. He was found as a stray. His time on his own gave him little time to groom himself, so he came to us dirty and matted. A lion cut, a warm safe place and plenty of food, water and attention have turned this street urchin into a "Wow!" cat. Take one look at his beautiful lion face and his fluffy legs and tail and I challenge you not to say "Wow!". He is a big boy, but from the moment he came into the Shelter, he has been as sweet and gentle as you can possibly imagine. This cat has heart to spare and is ready to reward "forever people" with purring and head bumps and sincere gratitude. Only gaze at this magnificent boy through a piece of cardboard with a pinhole in it unless you are ready to adopt a cat!
