This charming four-year-old female cat has been with us for a while, as she was surrendered with her companion, Junior, due to a change in living arrangements. We were initially hopeful that they may be fortunate enough to find a home together, but that hasn't happened, so we're letting them be split up. Rosemary has soft, black and white fur with lovely green eyes. She enjoys attention, loves to play and is so ready to be part of a family again. She is often found gazing expectantly out the window, or watching the door for the chance to welcome a visitor. Give yourself a chance to see what a loving companion she would be and stop in soon!

A true gentleman, Junior is beautifully dressed in black and white, with shining greenish eyes and a desire to be a house cat again. As a resident of the Shelter, he has shown impeccable manners, even giving way on occasion to the "ladies" in the Adult room when the evening meal arrives. He enjoys napping on a sunlit surface, or soft bed, is a big fan of the ear/cheek/chin tickle and listens attentively to the daily report. He has a calming, reassuring presence, not necessarily commanding any attention upon entering the room, yet accepting it appreciatively if offered. He will seek you out, sitting close by, expressing his affection with a deep, rumbling purr. Are you the kindred spirit he is waiting for? Junior is five years old.

Sweetie ended up with us after her owner passed away. She is a cat that lives up to her name. She is affectionate and really just wants someone's lap to sit on (keep the bathroom door closed unless you want company!). Sweetie is playful too. She loves running around chasing fuzzy mice. Sweetie would be happiest living as the only pet in the house. Sweetie is 7-1/2 years old.

Found as a stray on Hill Street, this sweet 1-1/2 year-old girl has a short, buff and white coat and has acclimated well to sharing space with our other feline guests in the Adult Room. She keeps her distance on occasion, yet she had no difficulty claiming a former favored bed of another feline. Hillary's only agenda is to find safety and security again, keeping watch from a windowsill, playing with the laser light, not having to worry about whether there is a coyote around the corner or if that person is friend or foe. She has been welcoming of attention, rubbing against you for more affection. Make time to stop in to see this gorgeous girl. She may be the friend you've been waiting for!

One of four young ladies surrendered to the Shelter due to their owner's inability to care for them, Tanji is a delightful year-old strikingly striped Tiger cat with a splash of orange on her head. She is sure to greet you at every opportunity, rubbing against you affectionately and is oh so willing to chat about anything and everything. She's been known to climb right onto us, eager for some attention. Even at her young age, she will roll over for a belly rub and will even choose an ear/chin/cheek tickle over food. If you are looking for a friendly face to peek out of the window, a companion for TV marathons or just want a buddy to play a couple of games with, Tanji will be a perfect fit. Stop by and shake paws soon!

Surrendered with Tanji, Luna has definitely come out of her shell and will extend her paw to "catch" your attention if you try to pass her before saying hello. A slinky black cat, Luna is just a year-old, and is ready to trade her kennel for a forever home where there are windows to keep watch/snooze on, a comfy couch/chair/bed with her name on it. Mostly, she longs for a family who will give her the love she craves and willingly repay with purrs and head-butts. Lovely Luna is looking forward to seeing you soon.
